At our last Cricket Action Group meeting, we decided to open the meetings up to the whole of the club in the future to ensure that we got as broad a range of opinion/views as possible. Our next meeting will be after nets (which start at 6-6.30 every Tuesday as a reminder to everyone) on the 15th August in the clubhouse. Please attend as input from as many people as possible would be welcomed at the moment. Thanks

A notice has gone up just inside the club house about Club Day this year. It is on sunday August 27 and will be a six a side tournament like last year. It is definitely a case of the more the merrier so sign up yourself and get all your mates to sign up too!

Congratulations to Andy "naranja" Orange for hitting his maiden century against Old Stacians on tour in Kent this week, before retiring knackered ... sorry, hurt, on 106!
This is also the first time Andy has held the 87 trophy and his score was the 500th score of 50 or more for the club since website records began!

So despite the bad performances at time England are playing on Sunday at 4pm. There is a home game that afternoon, the bar will be open and the football on the TV. We had a good time watching last nights game there, so why not come down and support your club and country!!

Congratulations to Rob Dunstone for passing 1000 runs, i've not put the results in yet, but his 46 yesterday and a missing earlier game puts him past the 1000 (According to him).. he beat me to it, i'm only 7 away!

You will also notice the fixture list has a new column 'View Teams' which (if kept up to date) will show you the teams for that days fixtures. Currently this Sunday (April 30th) is the only day with a team in, if you want to see what it looks like. Dont pay too much attention to the batsman/bowler/keeper icons at the moment!
